We are on our way to Eagle Cap and the countryside is breathtaking. There
are mountain passes, rolling hills, meandering streams and quaint towns. It
seems like a much simpler way of life out here.
There are not many interstates in Oregon, so the road we are taking is a
curvy road leading us through these mountains, valleys and by the streams
rushing with water from the melting snow.
At one point this morning it was 64 degrees and sunny, but this is Oregon
and it is now 49 and raining.
We just stopped for lunch in the Umatilla National Forest right beside one
of the rushing rivers. The view cannot be described with words.
