Sabine Woods

We went to Sabine Woods, one of our favorite areas to bird. This area looks much different after Hurricane Ike, but it is still great. We birded the trees at the entrance for a long while, it was full of migrating warblers.
We stayed the night down the road at McFadden National Wildlife Refuge. The mosquitos were horrible, even worse than the Everglades. The next morning we got up and started our day at Sabine Woods.
